Greetings my lovers, pets and fellow travellers! I hope 2024 will bring you joy and easefulness, as well as all the deliciously depraved carnal delights!

The end of 2023 was a non stop roller coaster for me, and it’s taken a little while to get back online. I’m making a commitment to art, and to making time for more creativity and things which feed me this year. It’s so easy to get completely caught up in pragmatics, and often it’s a necessity, but art and creation has always been a place of deep joy for me, and it’s time to honour that more by prioritising it in a manner that reflects that.

I invite you to think about something which feeds you deeply but which you haven’t prioritised or carved time for because everything else seems more important or pressing. The artistry in holding this space is in making sure that it doesn’t harm others or to fail in the fulfilment of responsibilities to ourselves and others; and examining the truth of those connections and actions.

Do it. Take a moment, and stretch it out. Expand your joy, and your nourishment. See what comes of it. Share it with Me, if you will…

I’m setting the intention for deeper sessions, more fun, more depravity, more connection, journeys and rituals. Come and join me in 2024, and explore what it means to be unmasked, uninhibited and authentically in our desire.

INFERNAL DESIRE MACHINE - Demasque SINERGY 25 Jan 2024

First thing! Infernal Desire Machine is rolling out for the first ritual of the year, a celebration of summer and light and fire, the flames which renew all things. We’ll be hitting Demasque’s SINERGY for a midnight dance, and I’d love for you to join us in that space.

Infernal Desire Machine is a labour of love and magic, a collaboration in heart space with Eve X and creating rituals that connect, light up and move us. We have intentions and invite the intentions of others into our spaces. I’m always working to imbue life, art and moments with meaning, to feel, see and hear it all, and sharing that openness, that terrible joy and sublime sorrow; so that we can live a life of trueness and artistry.

This is the case for all my art, my sessions, my every day; it is the antidote for my poisonous thoughts, a fire in the dying of the light. We all fill ourselves with meaning that give us the reason to move, to live, to do - whether it’s externally found or internally generated.

ZCLUSTER - The Rapture Video Clip

Which is a lovely segue into the next bit of news I have to share - after over 2 years of false starts, non-consensual relocations (thanks housing market) and settling into a new groove, the video clip for “The Rapture” has been completed.

I made this clip with Eve X in the 7th trimester of their pregnancy - fitting, as the song was inspired by them and our connection and what it opened up for me. I wanted to capture their power, beauty and wildness; in this magical moment of carrying our child. It’s an exploration of the erotic world where we fly together, of sex and magic and making life ALIVE again.

I feel like I definitely levelled up my editing skills with this; not the least of which was increasing the ruthlessness and acceptance that creating art with a razor’s edge, stripping back that which does not serve, or which only serves myself. Finding another level of objectivity in the process that allowed me to make the cuts from approximately 3 hours of footage down to 5 minutes and 30 seconds or so of intense imagery. Staying in the flow of the meaning and the intentions and carving out the dreams in the shapes they needed to be to stay focused.

I would be lying if I said that the ADHD meds haven’t helped immensely in my life and art, allowing me focus and emotional regulation that all my DBT work for the BPD side of my persona couldn’t manage on their own. 🙂

So, here it is! A celebration of my love, for the music I have the honour of collaborating on and creating with INfest8, my dear band wife; for the wild parts of life and ourselves; for my partner, for the love and life we’ve created; for my lovers, friends and playmates and all who supported and believed in this wild dream. Here it is.

I’ve launched the NSFW original version of this on Pornhub, as that’s actually one of the most accessible places to host this content that ALSO pays us by the stream. Hurrah! I’ve created a SFW version to bring this to as many people as I could, and uploaded it to our Youtube and Vimeo.

NEW SYDNEY VENUE!

Part of what made the end of 2023 so manic was moving our Sydney venue! After a year of delightful co-tenancy with Mistress Tokyo, we had to unfortunately part ways due to, yes, the real estate market.

We have however found a new venue that fulfils many of our needs (except for accessibility and on site parking, unfortunately there’s a flight of stairs up to the venue and a clearway out the front…) and are in the final stages of making it ready for a grand opening! I now have a dedicated workshop space as well as a session space; and a lovely kitchen and bathroom situation! I can’t wait for you to see this, and I’ll be taking a lot of snaps this next tour as well as madly nailing out (literally) the last of the preparations.

Reflections / Resurrections

Inspired by Cleo Kali’s post and in the spirit of gratitude I’m going to post three career highlights from 2023 (it’s actually a very hard choice but I’m just letting the thoughts fly out as they will…)

• Finally playing Dark Mofo with my band ZCluster - it’s been a long time dreaming to be a part of this beautifully gothic celebration of shadows; and after a very cheeky stalking and reaching out to a key organiser of this event we finally got that chance… and then COVID happened. Fast forward a few years and there we were, in the freezing, blood deep dark of Tasmania, part of a beautifully deranged and very necessary festival diving into the darkness.

• My first Pro Dom/me trainee that stuck through the entire core skills process and has now reached a stage where I can confidently say that they are ready to take others on journeys. Life is a never ending journey of learning and growth, but they have definitely passed through a gate, and I’m very proud of them! Names will be revealed when they are ready…

• Performing on the same bill as Hajime Kinoko with Infernal Desire Machine at OzKinkFest; like I said before, we pour so much into this live shibari ritual coven, and it’s actually amazing to have shared the stage with such an inspiring (and lovely!) rigger in the scene.

I have so very much in the wings waiting for their time to be exposed for you all, photography, clips, new music, new experiences… I’m planning on upskilling in a few directions this year, which is going to open up my offerings into more spaces. I won’t curse it by sharing the details of it now, but I’m very excited.

I’m hungry, I’m excited, I’m filling this space with intention and desire.

I’m so looking forward to seeing what this year will bring, so come and dream with me… On our knees, or taking flight, flesh on flesh and souls alight.
